MY PROCESS
Time to celebrate! It's your day!
It's session day! Today is all about you. Armed with the prep guide I sent you, you will walk into your session feeling calm and relaxed knowing that we have covered everything and that I know what makes your vision come alive.
About 3-4 weeks after your session we will get back together to do our reveal of your edited images. During our reveal, you will choose which digitals, products and/or prints you wish to purchase. I can also help you create different wall art to display around your home.

Am I the right photographer for YOU?
There is alot that goes into creating the photo session of your dreams. From Maternity, it's making sure that the wardrobe you select not only makes you feel absolutely beautiful but it also is about making sure that you are comfortable and relaxed. With newborns, it's trusting your photographer to keep your baby safe, and also on capturing those little details. And with your family, it's about giving you a pause button. All these are part of your journey with me.
During our intro chat we will get those first "Hi. How are you" akward stages out of the way. You will get to know me a little better and make sure that I am the right fit for your story.

Then, we plan every little detail
Planning is probably one of the most important stages. This allows you the freedom to create a style board that allows your vision to come alive, you will have online wardrobe assistance to make sure your wardrobe is timeless and classic. You will have a private wardrobe fitting, using one of my 100s of wardrobe options from the client closet. And based off your questionnaire, we will pick out the perfect location that reflects your family's story. There isn't a detail left untouched, leaving you the freedom to just show up to your session and let me capture the TRUE YOU moments.
A consult is a great way for you to meet me, and for us to make sure that we will be a good fit. You are trusting your photographer with the most precious and intimate of times in your motherhood journey and making sure that you find the right photographer will make sure that your vision truly comes alive.
This also is a time that we can work together to create a customized package for you if needed as well. While most of my pricing covers most, sometimes there are times where a little customization is needed and I am here to offer that by hearing what exactly you want in your session.
Why do you require a consult?
With littles and family sessions, I recommend booking sooner rather than later. Fall sessions tend to book up quickly along with any weekends that I may have open. I cannot guarantee the weather and certain color patterns, and since they are a hot commodity, I understand that you may want to wait until the leaves are just right. I do offer the ability to reschedule a session, however, it will depend on IF I have the availability. While sunset may be the look you are wanting, sunrise can also offer a golden glow as well. I ONLY offer outdoor sessions during Mid-May through Mid-October timeframe. If the temperatures are below freezing during this time, we will NOT shoot outside, but in the studio instead.
When can I book my outdoor session?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on services. Your creative (booking fee) is to reserve your date, and to cover planning and things needed for our session. This fee may be moved to cover a new date if proper notice is given. Prints and Products are non-refundable as they are customized item(s). However, if something is wrong with the item, please let me know so I can take the appropriate steps to fix the issue. This ONLY applies to prints and products that are purchased from me. If you purchase items outside of my approved labs, you are accepting the risk and responsibility for that.
Do you offer REFUNDS?
While everyones Maternity Journey is different, my experience shows that the best time for your session is between 30-34 weeks.
This allows your bump to show, but doesn't put you at too much of risk of going into labor during our session or also have you to the "I am really over this" part of the pregnancy.
When can I book my Maternity Session?
Newborn sessions have a little flexibility as I only book 5-6 newborns a month. As baby's have a tendency to arrive on their own time schedule, when you book with me, we will softbook a session date 7-10 days after your due date. This date will be a guiding point that allows you time to recover if you do go before your due date, or allows us to push back if you go later than your due date and/or may need more recovery time. The most important thing, is that you momma, feel up to doing the session and that you are ready.
